At Hidani Tech, we respect your privacy. The Talent Tralic Chrome Extension helps recruiters and job seekers import job listings, capture application screenshots, and track submission durations. To comply with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, this policy explicitly details our data collection, handling, storage, and sharing practices.

1. Data Collection

We only collect data necessary for the extension's core functionality. When you explicitly choose to import a job or capture a submission, we collect:

• Job Listing Data: Job title, company name, and application URL from the specific job page you interact with.
• Screenshots (Optional): Full‑page screenshots of the application confirmation page, captured only when you initiate the action.
• Account Association: Recruiter and/or candidate identifiers and your email address to link imported applications to your Talent Tralic account.
• Page Navigation Events (On-Device Only): When you pin the Talent Tralic sidebar to a tab, the extension detects when that specific tab loads a new page or URL, purely to automatically reopen the sidebar on that tab. This detection happens entirely on your device — the URLs or pages you visit are never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers.

What We Do Not Collect: We do not collect passwords, payment data, or content from unrelated web pages. We do not transmit, log, or store your browsing history — navigation detection described above is used locally, only to re-display the sidebar on tabs you've pinned, and is never sent to our servers or any third party.

2. Data Handling

Data is handled securely and used strictly to provide the features of the Talent Tralic extension:

• To save imported jobs and screenshots directly to your Talent Tralic dashboard.
• To calculate the time duration from job import to application submission.
• To automatically restore the sidebar on tabs you've pinned as you navigate within them.
• To ensure platform security, debug application issues, and comply with legal obligations.
• All data transmitted between the extension and our backend servers (Talent Tralic APIs) is encrypted in transit using secure HTTPS connections.

3. Data Storage

• Local Extension Storage: We store minimal, non-sensitive session data (e.g., your last imported application ID, UI preferences, authentication tokens, and which tabs are currently pinned) locally on your device using Chrome's secure chrome.storage.local API.
• Server Storage: Imported job data and uploaded screenshots are transmitted to and stored securely on our backend servers associated with your Talent Tralic account.
• Data Retention: Server data is retained until you delete it from your dashboard or request account deletion. Local extension storage is cleared when you log out, remove, or reset the extension.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties or advertisers.

Your data is strictly used for your own Talent Tralic dashboard. However, to operate the service, we share data with trusted third-party infrastructure providers solely for hosting and storage purposes:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Imported job listings, application data, and captured screenshots are securely transmitted to and stored on our trusted cloud service providers (including Vercel for API hosting and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for image storage). These providers are strictly bound to use this data only to provide infrastructure services to Hidani Tech.

Extension Permissions & Why We Need Them

• activeTab / tabs – access the active tab (only when you interact) to read the job title, company, and the current page URL, and to capture a screenshot of the visible page when you choose to upload proof of submission.
• scripting – inject a lightweight script on the current job page to extract the job data you explicitly requested to import, and to assist with full-page screenshot capture.
• webNavigation – detect, on-device only, when a tab you've pinned finishes loading a new page, so the sidebar can automatically reopen on that tab. No URLs or navigation data are transmitted to our servers through this permission.
• storage – store small, non‑sensitive session states locally (e.g., auth tokens, last application ID, pinned-tab state) to enable workflows between import and upload steps.
• host permissions – allow reading job details directly from the supported job boards and career sites you visit.

Your Rights

You can request the complete deletion of your Talent Tralic account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
